My humble garden

Friday, July 3rd, 2009

One day when I have a house with a yard, I will have an amazing garden full of bold colors and a variety of awesome plants.  But for now, this little garden will have to do.  I love it, even though it is simple.

Strawberry Picking

Saturday, June 6th, 2009

Today I went strawberry picking at Hartland Orchard with my friends Amanda and Korie and Amanda’s kiddos, Gretta and Gabriel.  We had a FUN time and picked (and ate) lots of YUMMY strawberries!

See the photo album here.

A bowl of cherries…

Cherry tomatoes that is! Freshly picked this morning is this lovely bowl of cherry tomatoes from my very own garden! This is my second harvest!

First Fruits

Friday, July 20th, 2007

The tomatoes have arrived! The other day I picked these four little guys and this morning I picked three more. Soon I will have more tomatoes than I know what to do with… only if the squirrels stop eating them. The squirrels took huge chunks out of four of my big green tomatoes.

Tons of Tomatoes

Well, no green peppers to speak of, but plenty of green tomatoes! Hopefully soon they will start turning red!

Veggie tales

My little garden is thriving thanks to all the rain we have been getting. I must admit, due to the rain, I haven’t been monitoring its growth. But to my surprise I have some green baby tomatoes!

I recently planted a small vegetable garden. I guess I should say I planted a tomato and green pepper garden. It is still in it’s baby stage, but I will continue to post pictures as it grows.
