Framed Plates from Better Homes and Gardens.

china plates

Ceiling medallions function as frames for these pretty still-life china plates. Easy to find in a variety of sizes, these composite fixtures are designed to dress up the ceiling plates of chandeliers. We mounted the dinner plates in the center with E6000, a strong adhesive. To ensure that the glue would create a good bond, mark off the area where the back of each plate would touch and paint only outside it.

Addendum to Frosty Orange Creme Layered Dessert

Wednesday, July 29th, 2009

The recipe from my previous post, says to freeze this desert for 3 hours… I recommend freezing it for longer.  The first time I made it, I froze it over night and it turned our perfectly.  The last time I made it, I froze it for just 3 hours and it wasn’t completely frozen and stuck to the foil.  I don’t know what the magic time would be, but definitely longer than 3 hours!

“For we all stumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man…” ESV

Today, this verse gives me peace that I am not the only person who struggles (especially with words) and makes me very thankful for Christ’s example of love.  It also teaches me the need for compassion for others when they stumble.
